Departure from Roissy Charles De Gaulle - arrival to Luxor.

A glance on the signs after have gone through customs, then meeting with our tour operator and start collecting of the luggages. Be careful……….in the airport you'll meet many egiptians who will offer to deliver your luggages....don't think it's just kindness: even if you're a girl you'll have to pay for it!!!

Hop !!! let's take a shuttle to arrive to the boat

Finally we arrive to the cabins!! While you're comfortably installing, some waiters will bring your luggages. You don't have to give them a tip, because at the end of your stay you're obliged to pay a sum for each day you spent and this money is intended for the staff and the guide. don't worry: it's nothing !!!)

Cabin for 3 pers. It includes 1 double bed , 1 single bed, 1 bathroom with bathtub, washbasin and toilets, a big wardrobe, a small frigo, a desk, some chairs and a safe.

Tip : pay lot of attention to the placing of the cabin. Prefer the central part of the boat, which is far from the engines, which is very important especially the night, when the boat will move !

Travel tips !!!

Bring euros with you and change some of them into local currency directly on the boat: it'll be useful in the local markets or with the several children you'll meet !
Bring with you some felt-tip or ballpoint pens because you can barter them with something else (like the permission to take a picture of somebody for example).
Remember to bring a kit of medicines and others useful things as sticking plasters, gauzes,..
The things you must not forget are: the sun cream, a heat, the sunglasses (to repair your eyes from the reflects of the sand), and obviously a after sun moisturizing cream.
Remember to always haggle (which is what gives the charm to both the purchase or the selling) at least half the price they'll propose you !!!
Remember to often drink water ! Be careful with the dehydration !!
Remember to pay the bill of the drinks before the end of your stay !!
Little advice for those who'll make the daytrip to Abu Simbel: take the bus ! The departure is at 3 in the morning, but like this you'll arrive in the desert before the sunrise, just to avoid the hottest hours of the day, while if you take the plane you'll pay two times more and because there're a lot of departure delays, you can also risk to arrive to the desert when the sun is blazing !!!
Remember the tips both for your guide and for the staff. It depends on the number of days you spent on the boat and it's obligatory at the end of your stay !!
