Like in most of the Marquesas islands, there're just few beaches.
Anyway, if you'll have a bath be careful to the unexpected slopes, which attract all the kinds of sharks. Obviously they're not well-liked by the inhabitants.

Otherwise, because we're next to the equator, the temperature both of the air and the water are very hot. The most impressive is the temperature during the night. Because i worked during the night, i had the occasion to verify it. It's amazing to realize that the clothes are useless, save for the decency, either by night or by day.
