"The country with thousands facets"

A very magnificent country, absolutely to see. I think that there's only a thing you can't do there : skiing. Besides, there's everything you can desire : mountains, turquoise bleu lagoons, several monuments, the kindness and devotion to duty of Thai people...all this make you dream to come back there.

Thanks to a cruise by catamaran in the Andaman sea(UCPA), we felt as real sailors on this wonderful sea, with thousand and one facets.

Our starting point : Chalong bay, in the south of Phuket island . It's a bit insipid as starting point (compaired to the beautiful beaches of the Western coast of Phuket) but the advantage is that you can find everything you cant in Chalong. So it's a perfect place if you need to refuel the boat.
Following the advice of our skipper (a really nice guy, even if he was an early ;) ), we'll start with Phang Nga bay and its amazing islands and rocky peaks.
Koh Panak some wonderful caves to see, but they're difficult to find without the help of the local inhabitants (Koh Pan Yi)
Then we'll pass byKoh Pan Yi, a village on stilts with a very marked muslim influence , visible especially in its mosque
the islands of Koh Phi Phi ( Koh Phi Phi Don and Koh Phi Phi Leh) : a dream for all the divers, climbers, tourists, ...

Koh Rok, protected island which hosts the Koh Lanta game, and which continue showing a magnificent underwater flora and fauna, a giant natural aquarium that is a dream for those who dive without breathing apparatus (see the diving lessons for beginners )
