Playa Del Carmen

In Playa Del Carmen it's not so difficult to find a hotel, because the city is literally invaded by the tourism. We chose this one by chance.

Following the advices of the animator of Villas Paraiso Del Mar Hotel , we looked for some 'cabanas', a kind of cheap guest houses, wich are almost everywhere on the Riviera Maya. And here, we found one which perfectly respected our budget of expense, that was about 15$ per night.

But at the end we didn't take it, because we realized quite soon that it could have been impossible to stay there: in fact the room didn't have mosquito nets,neither heating, windows, .... but just some thin wire meshes instead of windows and a roof made up of dried palm leaves. In view of the temperature (it was the end of january), it was not reasonable to stay there. On summer this solution can be really cool if you're searching for the minimum comfort.

Then we chose a room in the hotel. The price was about 50$ per night.

The view is ok. The garden is really well-kept, very coloured and clean.

Despite the fact that the hotel gives on a terrace of a restaurant, we didn't have any problem with the noise (and we even went to bed really early because of the time difference).
